- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. Where in one Yelyanna Gowda has been declared dead while under treatment on 14/10/2009 at 0620 hrs. The said Yelyanna Gowda was seriously injured by a bus in a road traffic accident on 11/10/2009 at 1950 hrs near Kumbra Olamogru village Puttur Taluk and admitted to the Adarsha Hospital at Puttur. In this connection a case has been already registered in Puttur Rural Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 14/10/2009 at 1300 hrs near Century Medical Shop at Statebank Mangalore one Kumar driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-5595 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-8845. As a result motorcycle rider one Hasainar E.K. (37) R/o Gurupura Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 14/10/2009 at 1330 hrs at Kamblapadavu Pajiru village Bantwal Taluk one Jalaluddin @ Jalal rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-6544 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-1328 driven by Althaf. As a result Jalaluddin @ Jalal rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-6544 and pillion rider of said motorcycle one Stephan D’ Souza (20) R/o Kasaragod Kerala Satate and Althaf rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EA-1328 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 14/10/2009 at 1415 hrs near Kabaka junction Puttur Taluk one driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No.MYG-138 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-7402. As a result motorcycle rider one Harish Rai R/o Bannuru village Puttur Taluk and pillion rider Suresh Rai sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 14/10/2009 at 1415 hrs near MT road at Puttur Town one driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-21-C-777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Oswald Luis R/o Nelyadi Kemminje village Putur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 14/10/2009 at 0800 hrs accused Radhakrishna, Seetharama, Sushila, Hemachandra, Praveen and Manamohan forming into an unlawful assembly at Narkode Sullia Taluk and abused Ananda Gowda R/o Narkode Sullia Taluk and his son Harish in filthy language and gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute. They also damaged the pence.

On 13/10/2009 at 1600 hrs accused Athaulla, Abdulla, Yasir, Ahammad Bawa Musliyar, Farook G.M and Abdul Shukur criminal restrained one Mahammad Bhashir (32) R/o Sullia Maninalkuru village Bantwal Taluk and abuse him in filthy language near Karla Thenkakajekaru village Bantwal Taluk and assaulted him by hand and with stone owing to previous enmity.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 12/10/2009 at 1400 hrs accused Balappa Gowda, Praveen, Vinaya and Damayanthi abused one Devappa Gowda (56) R/o Agali Kombaru village Puttur Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with deadly weapons and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute.

On 13/10/2009 at 1700 hrs on credible information PSI Bantwal Rural PS along with staff conducted a raid on an open place near Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and seized 20 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 1,080/ by arresting Gangadhara Safalya (48) R/o Valachil Arkula village Mangalore Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Sampala (19) R/o Mukkuru Peruvaje village Sullia Taluk left her house on 11/10/2009 at 1300 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
