In between 2200 hrs of 27/10/2009 and 0600 hrs of 28/10/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft of 2 Mobile Phones, a Driving License, a ATM card, 04 Railway Tickets and gold ornaments belonging to one Anu Augustian R/o Room -12 Ashanikethan Hostel Balmatta Mangalore that was kept inside her room . The stolen property is worth Rs. 15,000/.
- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Woman Police Station. On 29/10/2009 at 1700 hrs two unknown persons committed theft of cash Rs. 20,000/, a Nokia Mobile phone and other office documents belonging to one Sathisha Professor of Govt B.Ed college Mangalore by diverting the attention of him.

On 28/10/2009 at 1830 hrs accused Sharath, Sharmith Jain, Anoop, Sudhrashan, Sagar and Sampath forming into an unlawful assembly and criminally stopped a two wheeler belonging to one Vanadana Rao R/o Allipade Sarapadi village Bantwal Taluk and outrage the modesty her by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 29/10/2009 on NH-48 at Padil Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. HR-55-E-7425 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2153 driven by Ramesha. As a result Prashanth cleaner of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2153 sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 29/10/2009 at 1725 hrs near Petrol Bunk at Marakada village Mangalore Taluk one Sannegowda driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9502 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner in backward direction and collided against one Nethravathi (45) R/o Ullas Nagara Kavoor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her serious injuries and died on the spot.

On 29/10/2009 at 1100 hrs at Paper Mills Parnthya village Mangalore Taluk one Krishna driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-4937 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which lorry capsized. As a result lorry driver one Krishna sustained simple injuries.

On 28/10/2009 at 1830 hrs at Vishal Nagara Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk one Venkappa rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-5213 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ashwini (20) a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 29/10/2009 at 1030 hrs in front of Canara Bank at Kottara Chowki Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-1125 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ramanatha Devadiga R/o Kulashekara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 27/10/2009 at 2000 hrs accused Rafeeq, Irshad, Riyaz and Ikku @ Iqbal criminally stopped a M80 scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-9431 belonging to one Umesh Naik (29) R/o Kukkaje Iruvailu village Mangalore Taluk at Mullarapatna Badagbelluru village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue. Further they damaged the M80 scooter.

On 28/10/2009 at 1845 hrs at Kaje Indhabettu village Belthangady Taluk accused Gangadhar and Vijesh abused one Jayanna (44) R/o Baramelu Indhabettu village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with soda bottle owing to financial dispute.

On 27/10/2009 at 1930 hrs at Kuttikala Kariyangala village Bantwal Taluk accused Sharin abused one Shrinivas @ Shekar (35) R/o Kuttikala Kariyangala village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with torch light and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 29/10/2009 at 0730 hrs at Panjalu Kukkaje Manchi village Bantwal Taluk one Aseef (19) attempted to commit suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem. - A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 29/10/2009 at 0630 hrs one unidentified male dead body aged about 25 yrs to 30 yrs been found in highly decomposed state near seashore at Thota Bengre Panambur. It seems to be a case of drowning.

- A case of Boys missing has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 26/10/2009 at 1030 hrs Mohammed Nowshad (14) and Lava Kumar (14) went to school at Kinnigoli and did not return their house there after. They were have been found missing since then.
