- A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 11/10/2009 at 1730 hrs one Shameem gained entry into the house belonging to one B Abdul Hameed (39) R/o Krishnapura Katipalla Mangalore and committed a theft of a mobile phone and cash all in worth Rs. 10,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On the intervening night of 12/10/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the office room belonging to Sri Raghavendra Mutt at Kallare Puttur Taluk by breaking door lock and committed theft of Gold and Silver ornaments. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 2,00, 000/.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 0730 hrs and 2030 hrs of 30/09/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Yamaha Motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-6234 belonging to one K Kiran Kumar R/o Jeppu Market Mangalore that was parked near the parking place at Railway Station Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 15,000/.

- A case under Cruelty by Husband and relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of Minaz Bhanu w/o Mohammed Taslim R/o Kunjbettu post Udupi Distirict. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Mohammed Taslim (husband) and his relatives Abdul Razak, Tahira, Razeena and Nisha gave physical and mental harassment to Minaz Bhanu to bring more dowry.

No. KA-19-AA-1344 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No.KA-19-N-3450 driven by one Vasantha Suvarna R/o Hampankatta Mangalore. As a result the car got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 12/10/2009 at 0815 hrs Kesargadde Beluvayi village Mangalore Taluk one Ashpak rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-7149 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which it capsized. As a result Thaheed pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 12/10/2009 at 1230 hrs at Kasibettu Laila village Belthangdy Taluk one Pakirappa driver of Eicher Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7285 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9386 driven by Rajesh R/o Gowda bettu house Belthangady Taluk. As a result Puttaswamy a passenger of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 04/10/2009 to 2300 hrs at Mutta BC Road Bantwal Taluk one driver of Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3428 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which it capsized. As a result Ravi Gatti (24) R/o Sajipa Munnur village Bantwal Taluk, Harish Gatty and Krishnappa Gatty who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 01
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Sanjeeva Madival (60) R/o Kannadibailu Nada village Belthangady Taluk consumed poison in his house on 11/10/2009 at 1630 hrs. Further he was admitted to Govt Hospital at Belthangady where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1900 hrs.
